'Like a prized diadem tucked away in the royal Kasbah, this luxe little guesthouse faceted with terraces is just what savvy travellers come to Marrakech to find.'

Lonely Planet Best of Marrakech     2006

Maison Mnabha is an English owned and family run hotel that extends a warm and hospitable welcome to independent travellers.  Our guests receive personal and individual attention throughout their stay with us in Marrakech's royal Kasbah.

The ambience, authenticity and originality of Maison Mnabha set it apart from other hotels in the city.

The authenticity of its architectural decoration is reflected in a richly textured use of colour and pattern in the salons, which are the original reception rooms of an ancestral family house.   The interior of Maison Mnabha represents on a small and intimate scale a tradition that  has been the hallmark of Marrakech palaces for centuries: painted cedar wood ceilings and doors, carved plasterwork and hand cut polychromatic mosaic tiles.

On the upper level of Maison Mnabha, a patio decorated with hand made bricks and tiles leads to two roof terraces with panoramic views of the surrounding minarets, palaces and sights of the old city.  Seen from Maison Mnabha's terraces in the winter and spring, the snow capped peaks of the High Atlas Mountains rise above the silhouettes of the elegant palm trees that border the Royal Agdal Gardens, originally planted in the twelfth century.

Our impartial knowledge is always available for our guests who we hope will leave Marrakech with vivid memories of a city that is brimming with life and entertainment on every street corner.  Our ambition is to give genuine insight into the cultural richness and diversity of Morocco - including the cooking of the region.

'A great little place to stay in Marrakech is Maison Mnabha with a roof terrace and delicious breakfasts'.

Marie Claire, April 2003

'The charm of Momo with beds.  Breakfast is served outside - sweet, fresh orange juice, croissants and the kind of coffee that kickstarts a day watching the snake-charmers and acrobats in the Djemmaa el-Fna souk just a few  minutes walk away'.
